Short version: the Bot keeps no database and writes nothing to disk. The only personal data it ever holds is your Path of Exile session token (POESESSID) — and only if you choose to connect your account for live rare-item pricing. It is held in memory only, used solely for your own searches, auto-expires, is lost whenever the Bot restarts, and you can delete it any time with /logout.
When you use a slash command, Discord sends the Bot the data needed to handle it: your Discord user ID, the command and any arguments you provide (for example an item name, or the item text you paste into /paste), and the server/channel where you invoked it. This happens only when you actively use a command.
For live rare-item pricing (for example pricing a rare item via /paste), the Bot will ask you — once — to provide your Path of Exile session token (POESESSID) through a private Discord form. This token is a credential that lets the Bot query the official Path of Exile trade site as you. Providing it is entirely optional; if you don't, live rare-item pricing is simply unavailable to you, and the rest of the Bot still works.
Command input is used solely to generate an immediate reply. It is processed in memory and discarded once the response is sent. It is never written to a database, because there isn't one.
Your POESESSID, if you provide it, is held only in the server's memory (never written to disk) and is used solely to run your own trade searches on the official Path of Exile trade site on your behalf. It is automatically discarded after a period of inactivity, is lost whenever the Bot restarts, and is removed immediately when you run /logout. It is never used for anyone else's searches and is never shared.
To stay within the Path of Exile trade site's rate limits, the Bot routes each member's trade requests through a third-party residential proxy provider (IPRoyal), so your searches use a network address tied to your own session rather than one shared server address. The connection between the Bot and the Path of Exile site is encrypted (HTTPS): the proxy relays this traffic and can see that a connection is made to the trade site, but is not given your session token or the contents of your requests in readable form.
The server keeps minimal, short-lived operational logs (errors and aggregate counts) to keep the Bot running. Your POESESSID is never written to these logs. Logs are not used to identify or profile individuals and are not shared.
You interact with the Bot through Discord, whose handling of your data is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy. The Bot fetches public market data from poe.ninja; it does not send any of your information to poe.ninja. Live rare-item pricing queries the official Path of Exile trade site, operated by Grinding Gear Games (GGG); your use of your own Path of Exile account is governed by GGG's terms. Those trade requests are relayed through IPRoyal as described in §4.
The Bot runs on a private server hosted in the European Union (Germany).
The Bot stores nothing on disk, so there is normally no personal data to retain, export, or delete. The one exception is your POESESSID if you connect your account: it lives only in memory, auto-expires after a period of inactivity, is erased whenever the Bot restarts, and you can delete it instantly with /logout.
